This is the second time having Sommers Painting do a house project for us. Ron and his son did another amazing job painting our living. We have swirled plaster walls that are an absolute pain to paint, but they didn't miss a spot. Plus we have very high vaulted ceilings and they had the job done in half a day. I highly recommend this family business. They are a pleasure to work with and very personable. Thanks for the amazing paint job Ron!

My husband and I felt compelled to write a review for Sommers Painting. The was the 4th time we worked with Ron and Carina for a painting project in our home.

We had a room with old wallpaper (original to the home). We were concerned with taking it down due to possibly damaging the wall. Ron is as professional as they come. He reassured my husband and I that the paper could be removed and the wall painted without any trace of wall paper....he was correct!!

Sommers Painting contracted to paint vacant, interior office space with heavy red-toned residue and aged wallpaper. They completed the job quickly and efficiently. Ron and Carina were kind, courteous, and pleasant to interact with.

As vice president of our condo association I was given the job of finding someone to paint our two, five unit buildings in Racine, WI. I contacted six different companies. I gave each one the same specifications for the job. I did a lot of research on what paint to use and had several paint company reps come and look at the job. I ultimately chose Benjamin-Moore Aura paint for the project. The decision was based on the paint reps recommendation and Ron Sommers painting, and my research. Ron was the only painter that made a paint recommendation. The reason I chose the Benjamin-Moore paint is because it only required one coat to do the job. Our two, two story buildings are about 45' wide and about 120' long. The siding needed a lot of scraping and prep work prior to the painting. We chose Ron because he gave us a lot of information and a good price. (not the lowest) At the time the paint was over fifty dollars per gallon.
Ron and his crew did the prep work (I watched some of it) and applied the paint. On completion, the job made the buildings look like they were brand new. The job was perfect. That was over seven years ago and since then I have moved away. I had the occasion to visit the condos again this last June and I walked around the buildings to see how they were holding up. To my surprise, both buildings look like they were just painted. Over the years I've done a lot of project shopping and I'm proud to say this is without a doubt the best result I've ever gotten. Ron and his crew did an excellent job. The work site was perfectly cleaned at the finish. It was completed on time and for the price quoted and all ten families were amazed at how well the job turned out. Here's my recommendation. If you have a painting project, call Ron Sommers. You will get a good price and a great job!
