Great service and great mechanics! I'm usually worried when I go to a auto shop but they were so kind and attentive. My car is running smoothly now

My 2006 Dodge Charger began to overheat. After taking it to numerous of different mechanics I called mr mechanic! I explained to them my car had been overheating and I haven’t had any luck on finding the cause! Tony seemed very knowledgeable about cars! He asked me to bring it in and let them take a look! I did only to feel like I had made the worst decision of my life! Tony called and explained to me in such great details that it was definitely my radiator! Tony asked me how much did I know about radiators! ( I’m thinking in my mind I’m not the one who chose a career in fixing cars I hope he’s knows a lot!) I agreed to have them put in a new radiator which costed me 635.00 ! They had my car for two days and finally called me to pick it up ! I picked up my car only to drive it home and what do u know IT STILL WAS OVERHEATING!!!!! I immediately called them in which they did tow my car from my home only to keep my car another week! Tony tells me he believes it’s the head gaskets ‘ then why did you replace my radiator! As a customer I drove into their shop with an overheating car, and 635.00 poorer I still drove home with an overheating car! WHAT A JOKE!’

Brought in my Mini Cooper for spark plug replacement, was told that two of the plugs have been rounded off and they could not be replaced. Did not charge me anything even though they provided me with the knowledge of exactly what was wrong. Nice to find an honest Mechanic still around. I would recommend this establishment to everyone, just wished I lived closer, this would be my go to guy! Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

I went to Mr Mechanic last week because my car charger was not working, I had previously gone to him to replace my brakes and gotten excellent professional service.He told me that all I needed was a new fuse which he replaced promply and he did not even charge me for it. I trust Mr Mechanic and will recomend him to anyone I know. He is extremely knowledgable.

I randomly found Mr. Mechanic in a search online, but am glad I decided to bring my car in for a new muffler. Tony found out that the previous owner of my Toyota had jerry-rigged my exhaust system and it needed to be put back together. He showed me the mismatched parts and pieces, I have never seen anything like it. It was going to take longer than I expected, so he called a cab and gave me cab fare and had someone pick me up when the work was done. The price was fair and I trust his work.

I have been going to this location for years. Tony and his crew have always been upfront and honest. If they could not do the work, they gave good recommendations(transmission). Top notch work and people.

Tony at Mr.Mechanic in Southfield,Mi. is reasonable, trustworthy, reliable & honest. The work that he did on my 2009 Buick Enclave was amazing. From the brakes (with a life time warranty) the water pump (1 year warranty) & the tail lights which had a short in it & bulb replacement. Everything he said I needed was so...true. And the price was reasonable. I had left my cellphone in my vehicle (which I thought I lost) he let me know that it was underneath the driver seat. He came thru for me in so... many ways. That's why when I need service for my vehicle I go to see Tony at Mr. Mechanic in Southfield,Mi.

I have used Mr Mechanic on several occasions. I found him by using this site. Initially I typed in Auto Repair & Service in Southfield, but because I work 8-5 M-F, I refined my search by adding saturday hours. This was a big convenience for me but the other selling point was that they provide you with a cab ride home or free towing. But they are honest and don't charge you for things you don't need. When my car cost too much to repair he referred me to a good dealership and is continuing to care for my new used car. I am actually referring a co-worker who is having a similar problem that Tony is fixing for me today.

31 years in business obviously shows something. We have built our business on referrals, repeat customers and handshakes. On those rare occasions when a customer feels the need to lodge a complaint, we respond to their complaint because they deserve an answer. The only reviews we call out as fake are, well.......fake. We were going strong long before the the days of fake reviews and anonymous trolls and we will certainly outlast them.

Great and friendly service. In and out in a jiffy while doing great work. Will definitely be taking my vehicle back there.

Had front end work done on my Jeep. They charged three times more than what the job was worth. Also done work I did not authorize by replacing parts that did not need to be replaced. Now when I back out driveway and turn into the street, my Jeep makes loud thump now. Took jeep back, and manager tried to tell me it must have (the thump) been there all the time. IT WASN'T THERE BEFORE THEY WORKED ON IT!!!!

II called Mr mechanic to get my rear brakes done and explained what's wrong he quoted me a decent quote so I creep ed my car up there . I had them look at my car and they was going for all the chips 100% more than they quoted me . I asked was it any way we could just get the car to stop and I can get the rest taken car of later when I have the money and they told me that was the only way to. so I decided to have a friend help me fix then come to find out they didn't even check all the brakes they was trying to replace parts that didn't really need changing . I'm just saying I know it's a business and they try to make money but it a customer was in a bad place they could have try to work something out so I feel I wouldn't recommend no one to there shop unless you wanna get bleed dry.

I HAVE BEEN GOING HERE FOR AT LEAST FOUR YEARS FOR ROUTINE SERVICE AND EMERGENCY SERVICE--I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN IMPRESSED WITH THE STRAIGHT FORWARD EXPLANATIONS OF WORK TO BE DONE AND REASONABLE PRICES. WORK IS DEFINITELY DONE QUICKLY AND WELL. SUCH A BREATH OF FRESH AIR ! THANKS!
