Speech and Language Therapy focuses on a child's ability to communicate;from simple gestures and one to two word utterances to more complex skills such as those necessary to sustain a conversation, to engage in social situations, or to read and respond. Neurologic Music Therapy is the therapeutic application of music to cognitive, sensory, and motor dysfunctions. It is based on neuroscience research and utilizes standardize d techniques that are targeted at a specific brain function.
